Alan Keyes to Appeal Obama Eligibility Case

Lawyers for presidential candidate Alan Keyes have said they will appeal a California ruling that the secretary of state is not duty bound to check the eligibility qualifications of candidates running for President before placing them on the state ballot.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation said that such a ruling “eviscerates” the Constitution, which requires that a President be a “natural born” citizen.  As far back as 2006, Obama had a relationship with a law firm that was looking for ways to circumvent the eligibility requirement. Questions and lawsuits keep proliferating as Obama has steadfastly refused to provide his birth certificate to prove he is “natural born.” His father’s family in Kenya have claimed he was born there, but his records have been sealed. Several court cases are making their way to the U.S. Supreme Court asking that Obama’s birth certificate be brought forward.
