Return to Supreme Court on Obama Eligibility

Attorney Orley Taitz is filing another case with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging Obama’s eligibility to be President of the United States. The Attorney General, Eric Holder, a personal friend of Obama’s, and U.S. Attorney Jeffery Taylor did not respond to the Quo Warranto she previously filed. She vows to keep filing suit until an answer is given.

Questions about Obama’s eligibility to be President surfaced last year during the election when it became clear that he refused to show proof of where he was born. This is a concern since the Constitution clearly states that a President must be a natural born citizen and his own grandmother has stated that she attended his birth–in Kenya. His father was Kenyan and if he was born in Kenya Obama is not an American citizen.

One of the reasons that Obama’s lawyers gave for not producing his birth certificate or other documentation was that “particularly serious embarrassment will result from turning over the requested documentation.”

Taitz represents a number of military personnel, some retired, and legislators from various states who are demanding that Obama provide documentation (his official birth certificate) to show that he is an American citizen. Eventually the Court will have to take up the matter, but in the meantime Obama has hired three law firms and steadfastly refuses to release any documentation. He is determined to keep his records secret from the public.
