Obama Birth Certificate Saga Continues

July 30, 2009

Though the White House and the mainstream media seem desperate to stop the inquires about Obama’s birth certificate and other records he has kept secret from the public, the public is not content to let the matter go. If anything the controversy is generating more interest as recent polls have shown that over 50% of Americans want the issue resolved.  In the last several days more information has come to light and speculation continues to grow. Documents released showing what a 1961 Hawaiian birth certificate looks like make it clear that what Obama’s people put up on the internet looks nothing like one.

New doubts about the true relationship between Obama’s mother and father have sparked more controversy because they don’t match what has been previously reported and still don’t prove he was born in the United States.

Hawaiian officials have also admitted that they cannot vouch for the accuracy of Obama “Certification of Live Birth” (which, by the way, is not the same as a birth certificate).

On a more odd note, a wealthy businessman has announced on his website that he will pay $100,000 to anyone who can prove to his satisfaction that Obama is eligible as a “natural born” citizen to be President. (This is 10 times the $10,000 offer made previously by WorldNetDaily, which asked for anyone who attended the birth in Hawaii–doctor, nurse, attendant, etc.– to come forward, and no one has.)

In addition, over at CNN, anchorman Lou Dobbs, is calling on Obama to end the controversy by simply producting his long-form, official birth certificate, which is what others have been asking for since last summer.

The incredible saga of the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency continues on with no end in sight as long as he has the resources to resist. So far he has reportedly spent about $1,000,000 to keep his birth certificate and other records out of public view. Eventually, it may be the Supreme Court that has to step in and put an end to this controversy by demanding he show his documents.

Obama Eligibility Lawsuit Now in Federal Court

July 14, 2009

Monday afternoon, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled in a hearing in California that a lawsuit challenging Obama’s eligibility to be President will go forward and be heard. Though dozens of suits have been filed on this issue, this is the first case to be accepted by a court.

obama-nobamatvThe U.S. Constitution requires that a President be a “natural born” citizen. Since the campaign last year there have been repeated requests for Obama to provide his official birth certificate. He has steadfastly refused and hired teams of lawyers to keep his records secret. At one point a “Certificate of Live Birth” from Hawaii was posted, but it is considered a forgery by those who have examined it. (See earlier stories.)

Judge Carter, a former marine, has said that the case will proceed, it will be heard on its merits, and it will not be dismissed on “procedural” grounds.  So far a date for trial has not been set, but attorney Orly Taitz says that if the judge grants her motion for default she will immediate ask that Obama’s vital records be released.

Obama Birth Doctor Remains a Mystery

July 13, 2009

According to a report by WND news, their investigations have failed to identify a physician or any medical attendant present at Obama’s birth. Recently Obama changed his tune from claiming he was born at Queens Hospital in Honolulu to saying he was born at Kapi’olani Medical Center instead, yet the hospital cannot, or will not, confirm his claim.

WND has been searching for sometime for the physician who delivered Obama or any medical personnel present at his birth to confirm he was born in Hawaii as he claims, but there is so far no evidence that he was and rumors persist that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya, as his own grandmother has claimed on more than one occasion.

Recently Obama’s campaign has scrubbed several internet sites that had posted information about his birth, some evidently because they named Queens Hospital as his birth place and some because the documents posted have come to be regarded as questionable if not fraudulent.

A U.S. District Court judge has agreed to a hearing on Monday morning that may move this troubling controversy forward. If the lawsuit is successful, it may finally force Obama to reveal his real birth certificate, which he has been asked to do since last year and to which his response has been to hire teams of lawyers to keep his records secret from the public.  It may have to end up in the Supreme Court before it is all resolved.

Obama Birth Place in Ongoing Dispute

July 8, 2009

The question of Obama’s true birth place continues to be disputed as various sources report different hospitals and locations from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Mombasa, Kenya.  Recently Obama sent a letter to the Kapi’olani Medical Center congratulating them on their centennial and indicating it as the place of his birth, but the hospital, when queried, refused to confirm or deny that Obama was born there.

obama-nobamatvRumors of where he was born continue to circulate because Obama has refused to provide an official birth certificate and his own grandmother claims to have attended his birth–in Kenya. If this is true, then Obama would be ineligible to be President as the Constitution requires the President to be a “natural born” citizen.  Several lawsuits have been filed and eventually, if Obama keeps his birth certificate secret, the Court will have to decide the dispute. So far he has chosen secrecy and offered no explanations.

Obama’s Kenyan Birth Certificate, Signed by Doc

July 3, 2009

In a case that gets more and more interesting, the person claiming to have a certified copy of Obama’s birth certificate from Kenya says the certificate in his possession is from the hospital in Mombasa and has the doctor’s name and signature—unlike the Hawaiian one that Obama’s campaign has tried to pass off on the internet.

The seller has offered the Kenyan birth certificate on eBay six times now in different ways and it has been removed by eBay officials six times. It may be worthwhile to note that the president of eBay is an avid Obama supporter and was recently appointed to a commission by Obama.  (See earlier stories.)

During the campaign, McCain was asked to show his birth certificate and did so, but Obama has steadfastly refused to provide an official birth certificate and has hired teams of lawyers to keep his documents secret from the public. Eventually evidence will come to the surface and the Court will have to decide on his eligibility.
