Obama Case at U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals

The U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals is currently considering Kerchner v. Obama/Congress.  The lawsuit contends that Obama is not a “natural born” citizen of the United States as stipulated by the Constitution and therefore ineligible to legally be President and that Congress failed in its duty to see that he was eligible. Attorney Mario Apuzzo sketches out the case in the link below:

If the court agrees or disagrees, the case is finally being heard and will undoubtedly be appealed to a higher court until it eventually reaches the U.S. Supreme Court.

It is well known that Obama’s father was a British subject from Kenya and his own grandmother has claimed that she was at Obama’s birth in 1961 in Kenya. Either would make Obama ineligible to be President and Obama has steadfastly refused to provide his official birth certificate or other records to prove his citizenship. It is estimated that he has so far spent close to $2 million on fighting lawsuits to keep his records secret from the public.
